Randy Milmeister, Corporate Broker of Fortis Residential Realty has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Las Vegas. Family Promise is committed to ending homelessness one family at a time. Partnering with Faith Houses and Community Organizations, we assist families of Clark County to transition from homelessness to stability and independence through compassionate shelter, guidance, and education. Family Promise was founded on the belief that people do want to make a difference. We have three programs which include …transitional shelter, permanent housing for parents with disabilities, and permanent housing for working parents that require mentor support to continue to grow and thrive toward financial independence. Annually, we serve approximately 60 families.
Randy also accepted the position as Chairman of the Fund Development Committee. Responsibilities of Fund Development include fundraising (soliciting donations, corporate sponsors), oversee fundraising activities and events, and working with politicians, dignitaries, and local celebrities for the events and awareness.

Not having a stable home or being able to feed your kids is hard, even excruciating.
